Thank you for this article. I did this walk a few times and I did not know about the sea glass. It looks so pretty 🙂 I wish I had read your blog before going and took the time to search for sea glass. Maybe next time and thank you for the tip.

I need to go back and do this hike (and go down to the beach!!), because I’ve only really been around Beachy Head. It does kinda freak me out being there if I’m honest. I’m good with cliffs, but chalk cliffs give me the heebie jeebies, especially considering what so many people do there. 🙁

I haven’t been to this part of England. Clearly I need to add it to my bucket list.

I think it looks a lot nicer than the white cliffs in Dover as the the harbour deteriorates the view but the Seven Sisters have nothing man made around them which is great! Thanks for sharing 🙂

When I went it was a holiday weekend so it was full of people, but since I was there later in the day until they closed the last 15 minutes or so the castle was deserted, hence the empty pictures. It worked out perfectly. The castle itself doesn’t have much inside as it is in a state of ruin so you don’t need much time to explore. A great choice if passing through the area. For example, I went here after spending the morning at Beachy Head, which you can read about here. […]
